Hey Cousins! I’m Maiya, Founder of Colorado Springs Black Connections! I created CSBC to bring our community together, build genuine connections, and make it easier to discover everything Colorado Springs has to offer.

I’m definitely the foodie of the crew, so you’ll usually catch me sharing new restaurants, local gems, events, and places worth checking out around the city.

I also love hosting and creating experiences that give our cousins a reason to get out, connect, and have a good time! Outside of CSBC, I’m a local Realtor, but around here, I’m simply your cousin Maiya! I’m proud of the community we’ve built and even more excited for everything still to come 🧡

Meet Mike! Originally from ATL, I’ve been here in COS for 3 years.

A true man of the people; if you want to know what’s going on in the city and who to talk to, Mike is your guy.

If you don’t catch him at the skating rink, you can catch him in the mountains, or you can catch him supporting all the local events!

What’s good yall I’m Mike “The moderator” military child and from Eglin, FL and have been in COS for about 20 years.

I was a 8404(FMF) Corpsman in the Navy. Together! You can find me teaching a gardening class and my wife Georgie cooking up some good, good food at the game and wine nights!
